1. General Information
Navodaya Jeevan Foundation (NJF) is a Jalna-based NGO dedicated to organ donation awareness. The information provided on this website is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute medical or legal advice.
2. Nature of the Pledge
By filling out the pledge form, you are expressing a voluntary intent to donate your organs and/or tissues after death. This pledge is not a legally binding contract for the actual donation but serves as a vital record of your wishes.
Disclaimer: Under current Indian Law (THO Act), the final decision regarding organ donation rests with the next of kin. We strongly advise you to inform your family about your decision.
3. Data Collection & Privacy
We collect personal information including but not limited to your name, contact details, and location for the purpose of maintaining a registry of pledged donors and providing you with a digital donor card. Your data is stored securely and will not be shared with third parties for commercial use.
4. Donor Responsibilities
Users are responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date information. If your medical condition or personal details change, please use our "Retrieve My Pledge" feature to update your record.
5. Limitation of Liability
Navodaya Jeevan Foundation does not guarantee that a donation will occur even if a pledge is made, as the process is subject to complex medical, ethical, and legal requirements at the time of death.
